We have just recently had a loft conversion carried out by Gary Simons.

The works undertaken were massive, with steel beams being installed to create a floating floor which spanned our entire bungalow.

I never imagined just how much work was involved in a project like this along with the disruption it would cause, but may I say it was worth it! The end result is a beautiful space, which thinking back to how we managed without it, I never know.

The craftsmanship and attention to detail, in my opinion, is flawless in every way. Overall, very pleased with the way the works were undertaken, and even more than pleased with the end result.

Gary undertook an end-of-garage coversion at my house recently, converting part our large garage into a good size shower and utility room. The standard of work was excellent (particularly the tiling) with the finish being of a very high quality-we were very pleased with the completed job which took just 2 to 3 weeks to complete.

Gary is a very industrious worker and he is very particular about getting things right, and will go the extra mile to ensure the job looks good.

He is flexible in his approach to clients and was able to add some extra work into our job which included boxing in pipes which made a big difference to the shower room appearance.

Gary is also completely trustworthy and we were more than happy for him to have a key to our property whilst we were away on a short holiday so he could complete our job.

I have already recommended Gary's work to several of my friends and they have not been disappointed in the work he has completed for them. Finally, I can honestly say that it was a pleasure to have Gary work on my house because he is good at his job, and is also a very nice person to have working in your house.

Gary rebuilt our kitchen from scratch. He was very friendly and helpful with the planning of it and we were extremely pleased with it.

Gary also fitted floor tiles to our L shaped hall, bathroom and kitchen and replaced our front door and windows.

Excellent work and all at a fair price we would highly recommend him.

My parents needed a new kitchen, so i recommended Gary V Simon for the job as he has done work for me in the past.

When we moved into our bungalow our bathroom was very dark.

Gary Simon put in a velux electric window to let in more light.

We also asked him to replace the toilet which had a crack and a new sink which was too small.

He did a great job so we got him to replace the cloakroom sink also.

New bathroom and cloakroom flooring was also done.

The light now floods into our bathroom.

Gary was working next door on an extension when i asked if he could do a small job for us to put in a vellum in a bathroom.

It was carried out quickly and was a very good tidy job even the carpentry in the loft was perfect no mess left thats another bonus.

In march 2016 there was a very high wind storm which resulted in damage to the gable end of our house 51 Manfield Gardens St Osyth.

Gary was asked by us to have a look at the damage, estimate the costs to repair for insurance purpose and also indicate his availability

Gary was prompt with his quote which covered the cost of scaffold [ we are a semi detached house] plus labour and materials - his quote was favourable to us we were due to go on holiday in May 2016 so it was arranged with Gary the he undertook the work whilst we were away.

On return from holiday all of the work was complete, everything was cleared up and scaffolding removed Gary is certainly knew the workings of a gable end [ the gable end of our house faces north so gets wet, takes a lon time to dry out and so over 50 years, resulting in decay].

All of the decay was removed, replaced with new timber and plastic soffit and facia.

I needed a built in cupboard/wardrobe to hide my electric box but could still be used to hang clothes and store toys.

Gary was recommended to me as he'd recently completed work for my dad. He turned up and gave me a few ideas all of which we liked the sound of.

I decided to give Gary the job and I'm very glad i did. He turned up on time, was very attentive, and extremely polite. He's for was of a very high professional standard.

Recently Gary completed his second visit to our home to carry out various works which included, removing our existing kitchen floor and then carried out an excellent job of laying a new tiled floor.

He also removed our existing living room floor together with all the skirting and replaced the floor with an interlock oak system, removed our internal bifold doors and made an excellent job of fitting oak skirts and surrounding frame work.

He also supplied and fitted a new loft ladder. I myself have been in the construction trades for over 50 years and worked with contractors of all trades and found Gary Simon a very professional and confident person in all works carried out.

5* from me I had my front sign of my butchers in clacton on sea fall down Christmas eve as it was completely rotten i got in touch with Gary Simon as he had completed a loft conversion for my uncle who was very happy with the workmanship.

He started work on it shortly after, i can not fault his work he reconstructed the flat roof and done a complete rebuild of the front for a new sign very tidy and professional work highly recommended *****

I used Gary Simon to replace my extension roof the way he presented himself in he's work kept me reassured he was a professional.

He was punctual and put in a full days work and he was very polite. Gary took off my plastic roof and replaced it with a permanent roof that is structurally sound.
